Se uar (£6z44 Ti tCC We, the Senior Class of Jasper High School of the year nineteen hundred fifty- three, aware that our time here as students will soon be ended, proceed to make our last will, ridding ourselves of our huge collection of personal properties. We, the Senior Class, claiming to be of sound mind and body, do hereby make and publish this last will and testament. Article I To our beloved school we leave our sincere loyalty and admiration. Article II To the Juniors we leave whatever Senior privileges that are avilable next year (if any). Article III To the Sophomores we leave all the luck and happiness that we could separate from our trials and temptations. Article IV To the Freshmen we leave a four years' long, and difficult road to graduation, with the hope that they all make it. Article V We bequeath to the following individuals: I, Margaret Nadine Cook, leave some of my pounds to the skinniest girl in the Junior Class, I won't say who. I, Mary Eva Hardison, will my basketball suit No. 11 to the person who can fill my place as guard with the Jasper Jets. I, Joseph Banks, leave the taps on my shoes to Frank McDaniel, hoping that he won't make any more noise with them than 1 did. I, Katherine Mae Ewell, will my nickname, Slim Jim to Helen Marshburn; I think it suits her, also 1 leave my bubble-gum in Mrs. Joyner's waste can for her to throw out after school. I, Corinne Flowers, leave--hoping that all the future Seniors marry after they graduate. I, Sara Fae Hart, leave my giggles and cute ways to Betty Rouse. I, Leon Wetherington, leave my reputation as a truthful boy to anyone who can sound that truthful. 1, Jacqueline lpock, will my beauty to Clara Ipock, (that is, after I finish at E. C.C.) I won't need it teaching school. I. Frances Claudette lpock, leave my torn, worn, and ragged basketball shoes to Caroline Ipock. 1, John Simpson, leave my sincere efforts to pass my work without ever doing any to the next person who dares try it. I, Annie Catherine Register, leave my outstanding work in French to FrenchClass I, hoping they can do better than I did. I, Priscilla Lammeter Ipock, leave my worries over a Charles to Joan DeBruhl. I, Charles Nathaniel Register, leave my ability to mock the Joe-Banks-Walk, believ- ing that no one else can imitate it. I, Peggy Jean McCosley, will my ability to pester everybody to whoever can get by with it. I, Margaret Gray Slaughter, will my ability to keep my own secrets to Frances At- kinson; only Frances will know what I mean. I, Roger Howell, leave my quiet ways to both the Franks, McDaniel and Hosteller, in the Junior Class. I, Nonie Atkinson, would leave my old geometry note booksto anyone wanting them, but I need to study them some more myself. s'8ne“ Yh Nonie Atkinson
