Button To the Class of 1978: I would like to congratulate the 1978 graduating senior class for their many fine accomplishments. It is our hope that each member will find his future years full of opportunity and happiness. Always live with a purpose in life, and maintain your self respect as well as respect for others. Technologically the world is developing rapidly with new in- ventions and new methods of doing things. You will have many excellent opportunities and challenges that your predecessors did not have. However, what you accomplish with their opportunities will depend upon your ideas, your ambitions, and your ideals. Establish a firm belief in what is right, search out the truth, and have faith in God. The world of the future will be shaped by the impact of millions of graduates just like you. May you have confidence in your abilities and not be reluctant to use them. May peace and good fortune follow you throughout life. Charles L. There we will find, all those friends, And oh, even those old flames. But what are they now? just a name below a picture, and a few old memories. For we have all gone on, to a different life, And left the good ole' days, in this our book. Veronica Schenck Poems on Pages 17, 51, 64 were written by Veronica Schenck
