DEDICA TION X f . c A A LV,,, X .N K - Dear Mr. Bradley, Sometimes things around us get us down, and we wonder if it's all worth it, but the ioy alone which we feel in dedicating this year's Golden Glimpses to you can blot out all bad memories and all past failings. It's the kind of ioy that fills your heart to overflowing when you know you've made the right decision, and you know you've given something to someone who really deserves it. Everyone today has something to say, but there are few like you who are so willing to listen. By your compassion, understanding and patience, you have made our Place in the Sun iust a little brighter and alittle warmer. Although this kind of giving can not be measured, or equalled, we want you to realize that you have touched our lives and that you are one person whom we will always remember with a smile and a bit of longing. v Mrs Clara Brownell Mrs. Beverly Lewis Dear Students, The sun, the center of the universe, that about which all other planets revolve is the life, light and warmth of the earth. ln human terms, cer- tainly, the sun is that without which there is no other. For teachers, students are the center of the universe. If a student re- flects happiness in a learning experience, his teacher is happy. lf a stu- dent can say, I see, I understand, l love, his seeing, his under- standing, his loving are shone warmly on his teacher. Likewise, if a student says, l will not see, l enjoy my ignorance, I hate, then the darkness of his despair throws out its blackness to engulf his teacher, too. Nothing that a student does can happen without in some way af- fecting his teacher. Our whole life revolves about you, for students are a teacher's place in the sun. Sincerely yours, The Faculty
