His constant advice and understanding has helped us to attain the very best of school and to prepare us, not only in science, but for the life outside. At this time, we would like to honor this man who can always face each day with a warm smile and an optimistic viewpoint on life. For the already educated to give their knowledge to those who must face the future is the goal of their intentions. PAGE 1 ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF G FACULTY Never . . . was so much owed by so many to so few. -- W. Churchill. When a person chooses the teaching profession, he realizes his duties to his students. For what he will give will help mold the future. PAGE 5 SEN IORS At the crest of the hill, I shall hail the new summits to climb. -- Bernard Trotter. As seniors we have reached the crest of the hill, but the summits ahead are also difficult. The future of our generation in the seventies must undertake such summits as peace, understanding and equality. To reach these is a difficult path. PAGE 13 UNDERCLASSMEN The aim of education is to enable man to continue his learning. -- Unknown. Although it often appears hopeless and unending, the end result is invaluable. AS underclassmen you face the challenge and the choice is yours to decide. PAGE 31 ELEMENTARY There is only one child in the world and the child's name is all children. -- Carl Sandburg. As young people start on a long journey towards fulfillment of a dream, they face many facets of educaiiong the successes and the failures. It is a reflection of the idealism and a call to service that motivates many, especially the young. You graduate from high school in times that are changing and challenging. We believe that the great challenge facing your generation is to choose the best and finest ideals of the past and to build upon them construc- tively so that in time we can make into reality, what we say we believe.
