Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm Makes Campus Visit On Sunday, April 12th, Jarvis was blessed with a visit from noted and famed Black congresswoman, Shirley Chisholm of New York. A lun- cheon was given in her honor at the home of President and Mrs. C. A. Berry. A Special convocation was held where the Congresswoman gave a very ttto the point speech and entertained questions and answers from the audience.
