Tho Coflogo Exgoofvonoo 6'u!ffvofion or' foo Moo' for 2 Boffof' Tomorrow We set forth these principles To make the student Government creators of change, not just creatures of change: activators of progress, not just reactors to progress. fOrganizations of the future, with progress of any kind as an ultimate goal, cannot afford rigidified structures, calcified policies, or petrified programs if they expect, o' deserve, to survive in the swirl of college changeg We will exert total effort to make each student an organizer - one who will arrange his work load and plan his schedule to suit the need of the college requirements. And in turn, we hope to make each student a recipient - a vessel into which facts and figures will be poured, mixed and hopefully retained. We will strive to make each individual an analyst, able to study objectives, to rea- son, to separate, to criticize and to recommend. Each student will be a responder: one who will be called upon to answer, to refute, to provide and participate. It is our hope to make each an observer - attentive, preceptive, and a good listener. He will no longer be a statistic but avery important individual for whom new programs and new processes are innovated to keep abreast of the changing college environ- ITIEIII , Finally, we will stress the fact that college is primarily an intellectual experi- ence. Training is involved: vocation is not negligible: social participation must be lively and interestingg physical activity must be vigorous. Nevertheless, Q central objective of college is the cultivation of the mind for a better tomorrow. This we will hold fast to, letting our leaders lead and our followers follow, thus making us a body of united young americans, pure of heart, sound of mind, and sure of purpose.
