He is always eheerful and has a fri- endly greeting for everyone, David has a wonderful disposition and enjoys life to the fullest. Nothing ' seems to anger him, and he can forgive and forget any wrong. His wonderful sense of humor keeps him Ste happy and helps us see the bright side of fe. David is a boy who doesn't believe in too much | studying or work but underneath it all there is a kind heart. He is a splendid athlete and demonstra- tes at every opportunity his fine sense of sportman- ship. He always plays with the assurance of winning but he is also a cheerful loser, His outstanding athletic ability won him the position as star pit- cher for the baseball team and a regular position on the basketball team. He is very cooperative and | participates in many school activities. David is » not a member of the Glee Club byt displays his tal- ent on the stage. He isa great debater, always arguing his point thoroughly and to the end. With his sound foundation we feel sure that ' David will be a success in any field he undertakes. Mabel Ernestine Pritchett Begone, Dull Care! begone from me, You and I will never agree. Ernestine thoroughly enjoys life. She is care- free, good-natured, and happy. She is also very optimistic and always sees the silver lining ina cloud. She was a great asset to our basketball team during her years in high school and she made a very efficient class president. It is her good nature that makes us love Ernestine. With a smile and a ' cheery word for everyone, she has walked into our hearts and taken her place there. The students of Jarratt High School will never forget her. May she ‘continue to live a happy life, always seeking to impart some of her happiness to others and may she always achieve success. ow i

She has always been a very intelligent member of her class, ranking exceptionally high in her scho- © lastic work. During her four years in high school — Marjorie has held many positions of importance. She © 'was reporter in the S. C. A. her junior year and © president her senior year. She has been class treas- © urer for three years. Marjorie has been a memberof © the basketball team for three years, and was on the softball team for two. Her junior year she was capt- © ain of both teams. She has shown her acting abilityby — ' being a member of the cast of the last three senior plays presented at Jarratt High School. Her musical © talent has been displayed during the two years she © was a member of the band and the four years she has © |spent in the Jarratt Glee Club. She has been a won- ( derful classmate and we wish her the best of luck and © are confident that she will be a great success in © college next year. DOROTHY ANN FLOWERS Dorothy, better known as Pete to her friends, ranks as one of the higher up's in her class. In her yearsof high schoolshe has participated ih every sport and every activity, to the best of her abi- lity. These include basketball, softball and Glee Club. She has held such offices as secretary of the S.C. Ae, and she worked up from assistant business manager of the annual last year to business manager this yeare Dorothy has attended this school the entire 12 years of her schooling and in this time she has made many friends due to herdesire to helppeople in what- ever they attempt. She has a genial, witty persona- lity--a regular “go-getter in anything she under - takes.
