x yD pe ae PHILLIP SHELTON IVEY Phillip Shelton Ivey is better known as Stish . small, chunky, good-looking lad, he started Jarratt school in the first grade and has been an asset ever Since. Stish took part in all the activities that he school offered, being a member of the Glee Club for four years, member of the basketball team for three years, and member of the baseball team for four yearse The basketball team elected him captain his ourth year, and he was also captain of the baseball team his last two years in high school. He was on he school safety patrol the first year it was organ- ized; the second year he became a Lieutenant in it-- Ne'd say, Just a swell fellow ! Ny es Z oy ayy tay Say ar oy Caer alin ise LUTHER CHARLES DANIELS Ti Pee-Wee is a person with an effervescent per- onality-rarely ever quiet or in one place very long but extremely popular with his associates. He came to Jarratt High School in 1942 from Dinwiddie and through his ambition and vigor has greatly strength- ened both the baseball and basketball teams. As a Mriver of one of the school busses,he became a great avorite of the younger children who had eyes only or Pee-Wee in bell games and his part in the Sen- for play suited them fine. We often hear the maxin, 'Al1] work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but ere we have the strongest exonerator of all, for ithout 90% of his time spent in play we would have o Pee-Wee' '.
