Of these seventeen started their schooling at Janesville. By the time they started high school, seven more had come to Janesville. In the last four years they have had seven new students. May l9th, the day of commencement, marked the end of four years of hard work and good times together. For everyone, it was the beginning of a new task, the task of facing the world. Almost one-third of the Class of '60 is looking forward to a college career. Of course, they like to feel that they have really added something to JHS. Certainly the fine extra-curricular activity record has been due, in part, to the participation of the majority of the class. The Glass of '60 feels that they have shown that when a class works hard together, they can accomplish much. This is evidenced by the beautiful prom they put on, the chili suppers, and the class plays they presented. They realize their class hasn't been perfect, but they feel they have left a record for future classes to aim for.
