WW I X , DEDICATION A wondrous world of glis- tening aluminum, vast expanses of plate glass, salmon shaded brick, long lines of fluorescent lights, and multi-colored walls enveloped us each morning. Here there was newness and light andan intangibleairof well being. Here we lived and grew and worked and played. Here we struggled, studied, thought, and un- ceasingly sought the truth that we might better serve our God,our country, our fellow man, and ourselves. To this world, our new Janesville Senior High School, and to the progress it repre- , sents, we dedicate the l956 Phoenix. We have made a clean break with the past. We have established fresh traditions for suc- ceeding generations. Only the future looms ahead for yesterday is already a fleeting dream and tomorrow a vision of hope. t
