At the helm of Janesville high are the all important princi- pal, vice-principal, and superintendent. These men are always working for the general welfare of the students and because of their noble efforts JHS has prospered so well through the years. As principal of the school, Mr. Kenneth Bick has various duties. He is the general supervisor of the school's activitiesg in effect he is the guardian of JHS. Handling absences, passing out detention, supervising the iunior high, and all matters of discipline are a few of Mr. Roy Brussat's duties as vice-principal. Mr. Klontz, superintendent of schools, works closely with the school board. The board formulates school policy and he in turn coordinates this policy with Mr. Bick and Mr. Brussat who administer it.

The active citizens that comprise the Janesville Board of Education give freely of their time to conduct the business of the Janesville schools. For many years these men and women have worked for an up-to-date school with adequate facilities and enough space to allow for the increasing student popula- tion. This project will be culminated when Janesville Senior High School moves into the new building on Randall Avenue this coming fall. Dedication of the new school
