Health is an important class that is required for graduation. This class deals with topics such as first aid, mental health and nutrition. Lectur- ers supplement the teachers by pre- senting topics such as diabetes, C.P.R., and drug-related problems. The music department is much more than band, orchestra and cho- rus. lt is a very active and impor- tant part of life in the high school and in the community. The band has been subdivided into smaller groups: brass ensemble, clarinet choir, stage band and jazz ensem- ble, The orchestra is represented by a string quartet. Many chorus members were seen in March in the school production of UBells are Ringing. ELECTIVES li li: Mr. Romano Mr. Nuzzo Industrial Arts classes offer stu- dents instruction and experience in creating some beautiful furniture and other useful objects. Mr. Pistello Miss Metosh Ah, those yummy smells that come floating from the home ec room! ln home ec students learn to cook de- liciously delectible delicacies and sew high fashion clothes.
