POLITICAL AFFAIRS CLUB . . . is debatable! The Political Affairs Club is one of the most successful and enjoyable clubs in the school. Members have the chance to learn about the United Nations and international relations while earning up to a full year of credit. ln its weekly meeting, the club holds simulations of the United States Security Council, General Assembly, and committies. Simulations of historic and hypothetical events are also held. ln addition, the club hosts guest speakers and travels to conferences. At these conferences, the P.A.C. has proven that it is one of the top groups of its kind in the nation. As a learning experience as well as a fun club and a chance to meet people and travel, members will agree that the P.A.C. is a really worthwhile experience. THE YE RBOOK STAFF CAN ' GET O SATISFACTION The 1982 Yearbook Staff was in pursuit of more than just satis- faction, they were in search of themselves. From layouts to lay- out editors, the staff just couldn't be satisfied. Time certainly wasn't on their side every time a deadline rolled along. Editor Lisa engaged in rnidnite madness sessions while Leslie, Rob and Mary tour zulus from the depths of the junglel typed beyond all belief. Mean- time Claude, the grateful pho- tographer editor, spent his days picturing himself at Dead con- certs. But to Claude's much needed rescue came Don, Han' son, Sarah, Becca and Andrea who dutifully captured the many diverse faces of JD on film. Sue-can-I-interest-you-in-an-ad contract-Hayman and her trusty sidekicks Donna and Andy ac- quired advertisements for the book. Amid the frenzy Signe, Laura, Sue, Brian, Robyn, Tracy and the rest of the staff spent their days cropping, typing and copying over layouts. Mr. Man- uel, the newly attained advisor, found out just how exciting his job can be. But still unsatisfied, some questions remain . . . What's to become of the staff? Will Leslie enter the typewriter zone? Will Claude go on to study the effects of senior superlatives in relation to ulcers? Will Lisa look another peanut M8cM in the eye? Will Sue open up a home for retired business managers? Will Mark write his autobiogra- phy depicting his numerous adventures with the year- book? - l QQ' , 1 'su , X ,s r A . 1 ' . -'-ss.. . sz- ,is 3: - I t.: L A TOP ROW?
