ORCHESTRA Conducted by Mr. Ron Richardson, the Jamestown High School Orchestra has had a busy and prosperous year. A number of well- received appearances were made, including the joint fall concert, spring orchestra concert, and the Christmas program. In the Christmas program the orchestra and concert choir per- formed together for the first time. Two string ensembles presented numbers at various service rm clubs. Among their other activities, the or- chestra members attended and participated in the Class A string festival which was held in Fargo, The officers who helped plan this year's activities were Gayle Arndt, presidentg Grace Bantarri, vice presidentg Kay Ann Burchill, secretary-treasurer, Susan Black and Elizabeth Sorkness, librariansg and Kay Anderson, gazeteer.
