That was the first year in which The Students of Jamestown High School published the annual. It was originally credited to The Seniors of Jamestown High School. In 1918, in addition to the large an- nual, four seasonal magazines were also issued. This custom was followed un- til 1920, when the small publications were discontinued. From 1924 to 1948 the name of yearbook changed intermittently from The Senior Annual to Thr Rm! and GI't't'l1l' but in 1948 it was othcially titled The Rm! and Grew. We the members of the staff of 1950 yearbook, have been very much inter- ested in the school life of the early 19oo,s, as it is depicted in the first an- nuals. XY'e have found the old-fashioned photographs thoroughly fascinating and, no doubt, we shall think of the classes who were graduated at that time with a more sympathetic and interested point of view.
