'uni' 75 -. 'X Commencement 1965 vii -X At Commencement Exercises, degrees were given to 74 Jamestown College Seniors. Of these 45 received the Bachelor of Arts Degree, 20 the Bachelor of Science Degree, and 9 received the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Three Honorary Degrees were awarded. Edler Hawkins received the Doctor of Laws Degree, while both Arnold Lowe and Morris Sanderson received the Doctor of Humanities Degree. Because of rain, Commencement Exercises were moved from Taylor Stadium to the Memorial Gymnasium. The ceremony was delayed a half hour while the custodians prepared the gymnasium.
