Haas. r 1 BETA ZETA Sally Gieselman heads the Beta Zeta, one of the most prominent social organizations on the campus. Other officers for 1946-1947 are Melba Heller, Vice-President, and Violet Tamasky, Secretary-Treasurer. Rush-week in the fall is characterized by formal teas, and the group sponsors banquets and parties for its members. The social contacts are generally of great beneht to the girls and the preparation for later life is an important part of what is derived from the organization.

The group sponsors teas and banquets fbr its members. Marjorie Robinson Rollefson is the President this year. Other officers are Imogene Geving, Vice-President, Shirley Knoll, Secretary, and Ethel Ouraclnik, Treasurer.

JIMMIE JANES The Jimmie Janes? They,re the sixteen most beautiful girls on the campus. -straight from the lips of Professor Westley-. Some of their trials and tribulations are getting mobbed at the games by enthusiastic and hungry onlookers, and having coke spilled all over their nice white skirts. Seriously, the Jimmie Janes perform a very important function at the football and basketball games. Theylre always on hand to sell colces and candy bars. They also put on the football and basketball banquets at the ends of the seasons. Oflicers for ,46-'47 are Laurie Cunningham, Presidentg Lorraine Anderson, Vice- Presidentg and Lois Compton, Secretary-Treasurer. And-we announce with pride that the Jimmie Janes are celebrating this year the twentieth anniversary of their founding.
