INTERNATICDNAI. RELATICDNS From world unity to the influence of Spam on Russia's attitude-if it's international it's fair game for the International Relations Club. In monthly meetings, based on informality, and coffee and cake, President John Parker directed the discussions into any pertinent topics of international concern. Now and then these discussions resulted in a letter being written to North Dalcota congressmen regarding our Foreign Policy. I-lowever, they returned to the local scene often enough to carry oil the prize for the skit on Stunt Night-a take-off on a Big Four conference-and to maintain a column, The World in Review, in the Collegian. As Secretary-Treasurer, Lorraine Anderson took care of the minutes and rhe money. Professor Westley nobly filled the role of Advisor.

Smith, SPANISH CLUB All right kiddies, get your serape or sombrero or muchacho or whatever it is, the Spanish Club is holding its monthly meeting. The members troop in, and do you know what they do? They speak Spanish. The purpose of the organization is to create an interest in the language. It's interesting. Of course, they use up their available supply of words before long. Then they resort to films on South America, or maybe they are lucky enough to have dug up a visiting native. Professor Ellingson, the advisor, was urged to do a hat dance, but he advised against it. Somewhere along the line they take time out to consume their rations of chili con came. The officers? Carol Jeske, Presidentg Pat Falstad, Vice-Presiclentg Lois Flint, Secretaryg and Shirley Knoll, Treasurer.

7 . U ,E Q . fi i -f 1 L 'fl' , S Oscar, Prof. Knight, C. Lind, B. Muir, F. McCoy, D. Hyde, R. Stuckenbruck, A. Lawler, J. McLeod. G. Starr, V. Heidinger, R. Knight, D. Dietrich, J. Schwartz. I. Geving, B. J. Campbell, B. Shook, N. J. Campbell. This one's a cinch. You just mention Prof. Knight and Oscar and you can't go wrong. So. Each year the medics carefully look for signs of deterioration in either one of them. Each year they find that Oscar is still Oscar and Prof. Knight is still Prof. Knight and they know their world is all right. So once a month the embryo doctors would gather and listen reverentially while Knight set the mood by playing their themesong, I'll Get You Under Your Skin, on Oscar,s ribs. When that's over the agenda may include a lecture by a guest speaker, or a film on some aspect of medicine, or maybe someone brings in acat and they do a little extra-curricular cutting. A regular feature of their schedule is a tour of the State Hospital for the Insane. Adrian Lawler served another term as President, ably assisted by Duane Hyde as Vice- President, and Jane Schwartz as Secretary-Treasurer.
