Asc' tiers The slaves of the mask this year started things off big by leading the dramatics department in and out of the tremendous spectacular, colossal, gigantic-I guess we can stop this sort of thing now-anyway, the Naughty Nineties Revue . Nostalgia! Drahmal Music! And overtones and reverberations from the faculty, too. The spirit of the whole thing so imbued the members that when they had their collective group pictured for posterity, they just naturally fell into the family album number you see below. Anyway, it went to show that Stutsman County is not dead, no sir! And they even went on the road, kid, and came baclc the same night. They elected Wendell -losal president, Keith McClelland for president of vice, and Mary Flowers secretary-treasurer. However, the aforementioned president accepted a government position of a pretty low rank after the first semester, and so Mr. McClelland moved up a notch, to become president. Since Miss Flowers refused to go into the army at this time, she was really the only one sure of holding her position all year. Second semester, the Masquers gave their annual play, this year, Outward Bound . Mrs. Jaclcson beat the rationing board by about a few weelcs, and outdid herself with the turkey and trappings. Every year we say that Mrs. out-does herself, but honest, it gets resplendenter and resplendenter. Okay kids, the curtain's fallen, last one off ,with his make-up is a dead Jap. Crash!!! S. Wasson, W. Josal, M. Flowers, E. Robertson, M. Dunstan, P. Travis, B. Kline, D. Voge, S. Lillo, J. Wiese, K. McClelland, D. Jahnlce, Mrs. jackson, V. Waggoner, . J. Gloege, j, Purviangg A. Anderson, B. Chaffee.

By now you probably know that these are the Spanish kids. Yes, the Spanish kids. This year marked the advent on the campus of the Student Pan-American League of Jamestown College, affiliated with the National Student League. Initiative in its founding was taken by the second year Spanish class, and membership in the classy organization was by invitation only, with a ten cent cover charge. The Spaniels elected Senorita Voge presidents, Senorita Cafferty presiclente segunda, fpresidente del vicej, Senor Beaumont el jefe del dinero, y Senorita Woodward la secreteria, with Miss Lein la profesora grande, maestra bonita, and amiga simpatica. The League met for the first time just in time to get above picture taken, and thereafter settled down to a semester of diligent delving into the folkways and mores of the vecinos buenos. Anyway, die Mitgleider, er, - uh, uh - los miembros, are looking ahead to long and prosperous careers in the Western Hemisphere. Shades of Iberia! e

They have in their repertoire the Red River Valley Contest, Pi Kappa Delta Interstate Oratorical Contest, National Meet, Men's Old Line Contest, Women's Old Line Contest, Peace Contest, Kneeland Contest, and the Stockwell Contest for Freshmen. You can take a breath now, and admire everything. New installment this year was Ralph N. Schmidt, supplanting Dr. Lillo as advisor. However the Lillos were not to he banished entirely from the organization, and so the Piecaps seized upon the virtues of golden-tongued Stella, and elected her president. Adrian Dahl raced in to be secretary-treasurer. A And the season ended in a Hurry of words, all of them powerful, all of them meaningful, and all of them directed against slovenly speech.
