MASS P0lM lll '51 Happy are we that work is begun We the seniors of fiftyfone. Hale and hearty we go on our way Gay and cheerful with each coming day. On with our studies, on with our books Try not to mind the teachers' stern looks. For it's here today and gone tomorrow Some are gay, others full of sorrow. The first thing we know June is here With all of its graduation cheer. Now we realize if we haven't before This is the time we learn the score. We will receive our diplomas with bliss Remembering our fun, and any we had to miss. There were dances, studies, and boys As were our sad moments and then our joys. It's the last strict studious year we hope The last year with our friends to study and joke. Then it's over and we realize if we haven't before That we are entering through a strange new door. We must start climbing life's stairway so steep The future ahead our past to forever keep. THE BEGINNING The theme of beginning was chosen for the Woodbine 1951 bccau ' 'u se it seemed the only logical theme. James Wciod is beginningg the Class of '51 is the beginning Senior Classg this is the beginning annual. And what could better illustrate the beginning than a baby? So, to illustrate our theme, we have a b'b d ' ' ' a y pose to typlfy the various phases of life at James Wood- Administration, Classes, Activities, and Athletics.
