March . . . Ten . . . nine . . . eight ... the countdown to our final yearbook deadline approaches. It marks the end of months of work . . . and change. Beginning in October with a brand new sales campaign, over 1400 books were sold in a record two weks time. Con- fidently the staff OK ' d color in our book — another first for Riley. New features and ideas developed to record this year of change at Riley — our first year as an all senior high. More copy and fuller coverage of all events have been our goals as we aim toward an All-American rating. Every- thing has gone modern from cover to final pages. Now in March the book goes to press along with the hopes and prayers of one worn-out stafF. The fall SS Hoosier Poet assembly preview for frosh presents the staff in full regalia. The mon who gives in when he is right is weak, spineless, or works for Judy Areen. Listening intently to the boss ' s orders ore: Jill Swanson, Gail Howes, Nito Hawley, Vilma Lovisa, Sandy Gorbocz, ond Penny Buckler. The French Club ' s annual Christmas dinner is only one of many octivities carried on by 04Jr foreign language clubs. In- terested Rileyites moy enrich their classroom activities with events such as trips, movies, and plays. Happy Birthday Bob Knechel proclaims our Drama Club. Elec- tion to the controlling board is based on hours of service during Riley productions which included Androcles and the Lion and ALad-in China. Other Clubs Round Out A Busy Schedule of the whole, for it contributes to its members the valuable ex- periences of group cooperation. Those newer clubs representing the entire student body are noted here, but we will remember proudly the role of the numerous others in the history of this year. The Twenty-Six New Members of the Rileys NHS Chapter gather for their first group picture. In the first row ore Steve Zeiger, Maureen Sullivan, Jir Frank, Jim Burke, Ann Messriy, and Greg Baugher.
