?IA Y PRODUCTION Play Production allows students a chance to direct and act in a wide variety of plays. With the help of Mr. Wright the students usually put the plays on 3 or 4 times a day. These plays are looked forward to by all the stu- dents. STAGE CREW The stage crew is responsible for all of the maintenance and operation of the stage in Odin ' s Hall. They do the lighting and props for all the plays and as- semblies. If it were not for them the show could not go onl ■ 213

HEW LIFE Mew Life is a club where students are able to discuss their lives. They talk about their problems and things that are happening at home, school and society. It helps students understand themselves and their friends. Junior Statesmen of America is a national club which in- cludes high schools around the country. Our chapter was started only last year with the help of Danielle Cgan and the clubs sponsor Gregg Solko- vits. This club is similar to a debating team. They hold de- bates on many current issues happening in our society. J A 212

-- f- ' ijeEa. C.S.r. aka the California Scholarship Federation is a state wide honor society. Mem- bers of CSr must earn three As and one B on the 20 week report card. They are also required to do committee work and help other students in tutoring. Seniors who have been in CSF for 4 semesters are recognized with gold seals on their diplomas and those with 6 semesters are honored by wearing a gold sash and tassles. The CSF looks great on college applications and members are also eligible for scholarships. 214
