Bill Balch makes opening jump. Coach Rankin - Take it easy. Al Hyam drives around Cleveland guard on a fast break. The Varsity team ended an exciting but disappointing season as they placed sixth in the league. Some of our best players included Jim Reed, captain, notable for his out- standing free throw record, Dale Geide, Dave Burlingham, and Al Hyam for his shooting. The J.V.'s season was not particularly successfulg they placed in the bottom half of the league. Randy Lazar, captain, and Bill Watson contributed their speed and accurate shooting to the team effort, while center Jeff Booth snatched more than his share of rebounds. The Bees and Cees also had disappointing seasons, both coming in fifth.
