Z . Q we A ff? The Social Studies Department experimented with a new schedule for all government classes this year. In place of f p l?, the twenty week generalized government course, two ten week mini courses were offered. Students were given their taxi' choice of several different subjects of government, such as Political Parties or Civil Liberties, to take for these ten week periods. Students accepted the change with enthusiastic participation. Guest speakers from the various politi- ff A if cal parties spoke to the classes and thus provided the students with a better understanding of each party and their beliefs. The entire program turned out to be quite successful. t I 5 fe ?f f,l ' f 1 V ,tt t N an . t A 'Y ' . H A -X . is t .
