Media A new filmmaking class was born last year when Mrs. Hecht took a camera and two disenchanted Reading Im- provement students and began making films. The Con Game and Classes Interruptusw emerged from that eniperiment. The effort has now become institutional- ized in the Mass Media English class. This year the Industrial Occupational Class was in- volved with many new projects, including an every other daily newspaper, programs for sporting events, plays, and banquets. They also printed Confetti, Mon- roe's novelette, for the English Department. The Media Production class provided the technical skill required to run the video 'tape recording equipment purchases recently by the Monroe Student Body. This serviee was available to all departments and groups on eampus. Sound Crew worked out most of lVIonroe's technical problems. They helped at many of our football and bas- ketball games, and seemed to always be there when help was needed. Mass Media English Stage Crew L410 lo Right: Mrs. Elly Hecht. Phyllis Patterson.
