EVERETT CURRY JOHN McADAMS ROLAND STIERLE JOHN FOOTE KNIGHTS AND LADIES ln every school there is a senior organization which is recognized as a group of outstanding students, who have given much of their time and effort to uphold the high standards of their school. The Monroe Knights and Ladies of this semester have set up stan- dards which will be followed by all students in years to come, This organization is the goal of every student from the B-lO to the A-12. lt represents a high scholastic average and outstanding service to the school. The Knights and Ladies are the official hosts of Monroe, they usher for school events, sponsor extra-curricular activities, and assist the school administration in various other capacities. DICK WHEELER, Vice President LOIS SMITH, President DIRIGGN CDFFICERS We, the Senior officers, feel it has been a wonderful and enjoyable experience serving the Dirigons, class of W'6O. This class has given its full support in assisting the council with its activities. With their help, we have instituted many traditions which Monroe will carry on through the years. lt has been difficult setting up the standards to which everyone will adhere, We sincerely hope that our decisions and recommendations will fulfill the needs of the senior classes to come in the future. To Mr. Barkelew, our class sponsor, we owe a great deal of thanks. lt is his spirit and effort that have helped us to accomplish our goals. His continued assistance will insure the class of future success.
