SCIENCE There are two science classes, biology and chem- istry. One year of science is required in order to graduate. Classes are open to students on all levels. Members of the science staff are Mrs. Cronyn, Mr. Anderson and Miss Morri- son. Miss Morrison joined the staff as a halftime teacher this school year. The new chemistry lab has made it easier for the students to study and ex- periment. Plants and 4 animals are kept and studied A. Mrs. Goodrich explains material to T. Eiden, C. Manning, R. Rshuager, L. Simmons and D. Hunt. B. K. Zimmerman, N. Petrina, S. Fischer, J. Schweizer and T. Hatfield practice on simulators. C. Miss Morrison and C. LaHaie appear to have a serious conversation. in the laboratory. Health is a sophomore level class taught by Mrs. Goodrich. Students begin the year with a Drivers Ed- ucation unit. Here they g spend half of the unit driving in simulators and the other half in actual driving ex- perience. Students also have a unit on grooming. During this time several speakers demonstrate cutting hair on students in the class. Nutrition and diseases are also covered during the year. B -.L -.
