In February, the BSU members put together a show with dancing, singing and skits. It had a big turn- out. So did the BSU dinner, which was held in May. The BSU also gave a dance that was successful. The of- ficers were: President, Bridgette Jones, Vice-President, Angela Pittman, Secretary, Gail Brannon, and Treasurer, Rena Moore. This year's dance team was mostly made up of BSU members. They wore a dark blue and light blue gaucho suit with a dark and light blue cowl neck. Their shoes and socks also matched in shades of blue. The girls performed different dances to various records. They performed at half time at the Benson games and ,at some assemblies. The Pep Club was formed to help the rally girls lead yells. They wore blue jeans and an orange top with their names written across the front. The Pep club was at every game and sat in the front row behind the rally girls.
