BLUESTONE Milestone Staff- How do we begin to sum up our feelings from this year? We produced a fantastic book — one that everyone should be proud of. Certainly Taylor Publishing was pro- ud as they are printing extra copies of Milestone ' 87 to serve as a sample yearbook throughout the United States. So many other yearbook staffs can enjoy and learn from the efforts of our staff. We feel that the experiment with having Co-Editors-in-Chief was a successful one. The doubts others may have had quickly disappeared as we began to work together as a staff in producing the book you now hold in your hands. Look back through this book and appreciate the many people and many hours that went into its production. We also appreciate those, outside of the staff, who supported us throughout the year. We decided that the year and the book would not be complete without giving a few special awards to a few special people: Little Amy - Internal Control Award — for controlling the money, stamps, patrons, the Copytext card and US. Andrea - Flexible Ladder Award — for all the additions, subtractions and rear- rangements of her section and never complaining. Stephanie - Maximus Award — for learning to completely fill a quad-pak with graphic instructions and type specifications. Susan - Bluestone Spirit Award — for always having a smile even when the chips were down (and for almost keeping Larry in line!) Gary - New Kid in Town Award — for being the youngest editor and for not ac- ting like too much of a freshman. Donna - Wonder Woman Award — for always having everything in at least two days early. (Also contact Donna if you ever need to meet anyone on the campus because she knows the world!) Steve - Veteran of the Staff Award — for the photographer who has been here longer than any of us and who has taken more pictures of gymnasts than Sports Illustrated. Larry - Media Relations Award — for his valiant efforts to promote good rela- tions between campus publications. Pat - Inconspicuous Photographer Award — for rarely attending staff meetings yet always managing to get his assignments done on time. Brian - Purple Heart Award — for his bravery and loss of sunglasses in the line of duty. Mandy - I ' ve Got a Million and One Things To Do Award - for being the busiest person on the staff yet always doing everything well. Amy - Fear of Technology Award — for being afraid of the computer especially Page Vision and Index Vision (but she sure can jam on Type Vision.) Suzi - Best Adviser Non-Adviser Award — for always being there when we need- ed her but not being there when we didn ' t. Thanks to everyone involved with Bluestone ' 87 . It truly was a pleasure. And in keeping with our tradition . . . Hugs and Kisses, Amy and Mandy Soule 390
