undignified act. Seniors conduct themselves with dignity at all times, of so we had been told. With skirts dragging the ground as is the fashion, the Seniors came to the campus in September, 1947, with mincing steps. How else can you step in three and a half inch heels? These same girls pushed ever and anon to screech with modulated voices at some friend on the other side of the campus. Yes, dignity is truly a characteristic of the Seniors. Yet despite the carefree exterior, we see here and there a wrinkle or gray hair and we notice that the hull sessions have more serious themes than in other years. GRADUATION We have continued to make excellent choices in class leaders and have as our president this year Barbara Wensel. With her help we made this the best year yet.
