CONTENTS CLASSES Girls and boys may come and go, but classes go on forever. The student generations through the years have studied, succeeded, and passed on the best of their scholastic lives to us. ADMINISTRATION Among our most beloved traditions we count our faculty members. Whether they be of long or recent standing at Madison, their wisdom and their friendships hold a secret place in our college hearts. ORGANIZATIONS The idea of social organization is old as man himself. In the beginning extra curricular activities were organized at Madison, and both their written anc unwritten laws are valuable in our group experiences today. ATHLETICS Physical exercise as it was regulated by rules from experience developed into games. Participants and spectators of earlier sports have instilled in our college personalities the traditions of good sportsmanship and school spirit. SCHOOL LIFE School life is actually the essence of our college inheritance from a past Madison. It represents the intangible spirit, made up of tangible people, places, and things, of our college life. FEATURES Standards for campus recognition of outstanding students have been set up y the selections of former class members. The girls themselves who have been :hosen as features each year hold a place in the chronicles of Madison.
