GOLF The 74-75 Golf team put in an outstanding year. Under the leadership of golfers Waymon and Whatley, the team played well in competition. The team defended the Western League title against high scoring teams, such as Kearny and San Diego. Coach Hannon and Asst. Coach Brown agree that Dave Waymon demonstrated the ability to become the top Junior Golfer in Southern California. Another top golfer was Mike Whatley, who has the expertise it takes to be an excellent golfer. This year's JV Baseball team did well in competition. Lead by the pitching of Donald Northdurft the team showed itself to be strong defensively, as well as offensively. They had an excellent preseason, playing against teams outside the league. Among their out- standing victories was a win against the Valhalla Varsity. Coach Twombley. and manager Conyer. helped the team to do well this season. 244 Athletics
