V. BASEBALL Our Warhawk Baseball team proved to be one of the Western League’s better teams. Coach Bob Roeder blended hard work, a lot of hustle, and high team spirit to achieve an extremely potent attack, both on the field and at the plate. Madison displayed its strength in an early season victory over highly regarded El Capitan and found itself in the top ten several times during the course of the season. 232 Athletics

GYMNASTICS Boys' Gymnastics is one of the last sports to compete during the school year. This year's team looked strong, as the yearbook went to print. The team practiced 2' 2 hours a day for several weeks, and broke an old time tradition of working out alone by practicing with the girls' gymnastics team. As always, their toughest opponent was Patrick Henry, but with the help of Jay Tremblett and Hitoshi Sueyoshi the Madison team turned out a good performance. 234 Athletics
