WILMA WARHAWK Our school mascot is very im- portant in encouraging spirit at games. Vickie Knox did a great job of filling Wilma's slippers. She was enthusiastic and energetic as she squawked and flew on the side- lines. Behind all this glamour was a lot of hard work. Vickie showed her dedication by making her own costume, and by many hours of practice with the varsity cheer- leaders. Rallying spirit at the J.V. sports events can be difficult, due to the lack of attendance. With all the zeal of our J.V. Cheerleaders, the task seemed a little less impos- sible. They did a good job of in- volving the crowd in the sports. Many of the J.V. Cheerleaders hope to continue their great work next year representing our varsity teams. Organizations 211
