MR. WOLFE This is a tribute to Mr. Wolfe for his hard work here at Madison. We wish him luck and good fortune in whatever position he chooses in Kentucky. Even though Mr. Wolfe announced his resignation, he is still giving his all to the students. He himself is looking for the best man to take over for him. Those who know and love Mr. Wolfe will miss him deeply. He has been at Madison for seven years and has accomplished a great deal. With his backing and hard work. Mr. Wolfe and the marching unit have won many awards. If he had not always kept everyone on their toes, the awards would have been few. We wish you luck and happiness. There will always be a soft spot in Madi- son's heart for Mr. Wolfe and his work with the band. Organizations 191

BOY’S AND GIRL’S STATE Shari Ishihara and Ted Kingsley have been se- lected to represent Madison for Boy’s and Girl’s State. They will spend one week at Sacramento State University. There will be a political meet- ing of representatives from each high school. They'll be learning about government and will bring back to school a commentary report on what they’ve learned. 190 Organizations

Concert Band plays for the various occasions such as the Spring Festival and concerts. They also play at a few of the Jr. Highs. Last year Concert Band placed 2nd in the Annual Festival and Mr. Wolfe has high hopes to win 1st place this year. The group also performs at our Christmas program every year. The Concert Band members have much musical talent and study long hours. The results of their hard work is evident in their performances. 192 Organizations
