Tracksters Dominate Distance Runs Madison's tracksters have always been noted for their great individual performances and this year was no exception. No less than seven Warhawks were among the top finishers in the Western League. Paced by Dick Wilson's upset victory over C.l.F. Champion Dave Harper in the mile. Bob Sturgeon's 6 4 high jump, and Kurt Nelson’s record distance in the shot put. the Madisonites placed well in the league standings and earned valuable points for the coveted M.C.R.D.
