With a 1-4 record, the tennis team had a rebuilding year. In her first year of teach- ing. Coach Sandi Tschudi kept the team in shape with practices during eighth hour gym and after school. Younger members make next year look promising for the team. With only two losses, the volleyball team took a third in Western League play. Skills and practice games readied the girls for league competition under direction of Coach Betty Bennett. Helping also with the team were Miss Carol Hamilton and Mrs. Renee Sccman. Games were played at Muni Gym. Boasting a fourth place in the city and twelfth in the county is the girls’ swim team. Practices were held four times a week at Miramar Pool. Coaches Betty Ardapplc. Anne Rosser and the boys’ waterpolo club helped the girls develop their abilities into a winning team. The purchase of new swim- suits made the team stand out even more at their meets!
