Activities Brighten Curricular Routine Attending classes, eating lunch, leaving school, and doing homework—sounds boring, doesn't it? At Madison this pace of work, work, work isn’t very popular; eager students involve themselves in lunch-period and after-school activities. Students are offered a choice of enter- tainment during their lunch periods. Regularly held open A.S.B. meetings. “Career Day” lectures, pep rallies, and musical and comedy programs have been available for them to attend. The movie, “Anastasia”, and more band concerts were new this year. Club-sponsored events, such as the “Tug-of-War” and “Slave Day” have successfully kept the hour-long lunches from being wasted and monotonous. After school all Warhawks can partici- pate in some school activity. Sport meets and after-game dances have proved most popular. Plays, musicals, formal and informal dances, too, have been part of the fun and activity of ’71. BELOW LEFT TO RIGHT. Rosan DcLconardo.
