Tomorrow’s Technicians Produce Television Shows The Electronics Club, C.C.T.V., and Auto Club offered those interested in future occupations in these areas opportunities to get a head start. Experimenting and making electronic kits was the goal of the Electronics Club. Some of the group’s projects were making their own intercoms and ham radios. Students who participated in the C.C.T.V. program learned to operate cameras and found out what took place behind the scenes in the filming of a program. The group filmed Sophomore Scene, the Madison News, and special programs requested by classes. The Auto Club helped train future mechanics and those who just wanted to learn more about cars. Activities Brighten Curricular Routine Attending classes, eating lunch, leaving school, and doing homework—sounds boring, doesn't it? At Madison this pace of work, work, work isn’t very popular; eager students involve themselves in lunch-period and after-school activities. Students are offered a choice of enter- tainment during their lunch periods. Regularly held open A.S.B. meetings. “Career Day” lectures, pep rallies, and musical and comedy programs have been available for them to attend. The movie, “Anastasia”, and more band concerts were new this year. Club-sponsored events, such as the “Tug-of-War” and “Slave Day” have successfully kept the hour-long lunches from being wasted and monotonous. After school all Warhawks can partici- pate in some school activity. Sport meets and after-game dances have proved most popular. Plays, musicals, formal and informal dances, too, have been part of the fun and activity of ’71. BELOW LEFT TO RIGHT. Rosan DcLconardo. Sermscc Chongchua, and Debbie Christian perform a comedy skit during a pep rally. LOWER RIGHT: Madison students wait patiently in a ticket line.
