Tomorrow’s Technicians Produce Television Shows The Electronics Club, C.C.T.V., and Auto Club offered those interested in future occupations in these areas opportunities to get a head start. Experimenting and making electronic kits was the goal of the Electronics Club. Some of the group’s projects were making their own intercoms and ham radios. Students who participated in the C.C.T.V. program learned to operate cameras and found out what took place behind the scenes in the filming of a program. The group filmed Sophomore Scene, the Madison News, and special programs requested by classes. The Auto Club helped train future mechanics and those who just wanted to learn more about cars. Latin Feast Caps Active Year for Romads Can wc work with metal swords?” questioned Latin Club members who wanted metal swords instead of wood ones for this year’s banquet games. The wood swords broke in the middle of the games last year. The games including foot races, chariot races, and cata- pulting took place in May. but unfortunately without metal swords. In order to raise money for their annual banquet the Ro- mads sponsored a chariot race, tug-of-war, catapult contest, and of course many delicious bake sales. The banquet took place in the Madison cafeteria. The games occurred first in the order of events followed by the honor- ing of the gods. During the feast- ing, plays were put on and danc- ing girls roamed around the tables. BELOW LEFT: Romad members Debbie Gcbhardi and Victor Godyn donned Roman togas for an after school bake sale.
