International Club Visits “Little Bavaria” Oulings lo “Little Bavaria”, a toy drive and guest speakers were highlights of the year for members of the International Club. This club, one of the newer clubs on campus, had an activity- filled year. Mrs. Thorson spon- sored the club. Members enjoyed trips to “Little Bavaria”, a German restaurant, where they ate and participated in typical German folk dances. President Denise Skillman arranged for several guest speakers to talk about different customs and countries. For Christmas a toy drive was organized to collect items for orphans in Tecate. Experimental Theater, A New Idea An experimental theater sparked the interest of Madison's Theater Art Guild. The drama minded students performed skits, dances, and singing to lunch time audiences at no cost. Not only did the Guild provide enter- tainment, but gained helpful exper- ience for a future in drama and had a great time doing so. “Perseverance”-Key Word in C.S.F The California Scholarship Federation is made up of stu- dents who have received at least 10 grade points in academic subjects during a semester on a scale in which an A is three points and a B is one point. On Senior Awards Night students having made C.S.F. at least four semesters were recognized as seal bearers and the 100% mem- bers were announced. Mrs. Hake sponsored the organiza- tion this year.
