Diane Giovacchini Reigns As 1972 Homecoming Queen Over the 50 ' s For a change Homecoming was held on a Friday night this year. But it was just as elaborate as ever under the lights. All the floats were designed accord¬ ing to the theme, the 50 ' s. The princesses were: sen¬ ior Thalia Gerachis, senior Janet Alces, junior Lynn Rhame, sophomore Jeanette Voas, and freshman Selene Mahaffey. The annual Homecoming Dance was held the following night, ending the 1972 Home¬ coming festivities. A happy winner stands with her escort, Steve Roman after being crowned. The ' 72 court lines up, from left to right: Tim McGahan, Selene Mahaffey, George Gerachis, Jeanette Voas. Norman Rodier, Lynn Rhame, Carl Schogren, Janet Alces, Geoff James, Thalia Gerachis. The winning class float, Rock-n-Roll the Patriots , was contributed by the seniors.
