A MADlSONlAN'S IIIISEIW IS.. Arriving late for class because you followed the firedrill signs. Getting hungry in Madison's cafeteria. Belting out the Star Spangled Banner in assembly and discovering that you're the only one singing. Losing your Pioneer bus pass on the first day of the month. . . . Having to ride the Pioneer bus anyway. Swimming! Getting a pink card for kissing in the halls. A Mr. Seinberg test. Trying to find the Highway office. . . . Finding the Highway office. Being o Booster and boosting when the other side gets a point. Entering room 415 when Miss Tannenbaum's class is in session. Trying to retrieve your camera from Mr. Levins on Shutterbug Day. Trying to add IOO words to a Log article. Being a Senior and losing Sing. . . . Being in all Junior classes the day after. 118 Reaching the last question on the SAT's and discovering an empty answer box on your grid. . . . Discovering that the mistake was on question two. Getting an 800 composite on the SAT's after you've taken the course. Trying to get your transcript mailed before April 15. Taking outa student loan for Brooklyn. A. P. Math. . . . Getting there a minute after the bell and discovering that Mrs. Glaubiger has already covered two lessons. Living on the wrong side of Avenue T and missing out on all of Madison's misery. Trying to think of something miserable enough about Madison to include here. . . .Thinking of it-We're leaving.
