Nothing can equal the enthusiasm and spirit of the participants which prevails among the different terms, as each tries to prove its superiority. The original songs, dances, and slcetches can he lavoraloly compared with many professional productions. The memory ol Sing will always remain. W , Q1 E TTTZT ! :L 5 ' - III It E! ' V CHEERLEADERS AND TWIRLERS By now the organizations of Twirlers and Cheerleaders have become old established customs in Madison, and we are quite proud of them. It is quite thrilling to watch from the football stands the slim girls twirling away with their hatons. At the laaslcethall games one has the pleasure of seeing the routines of hoth our boy and girl Cheerleaders, in action. These two cluhs really glorify the hlaclc and gold of our school which will soon hecome our Alma lvlater, and they malce Madisonians proud that they are a part ol this lestivity. The present captains of Twirlers are: Loretta Smith and Sonny Slotoroff: ol Cheerleaders, Ruth Krasnow and Richard Karp. It was originated hy Miss Corinne Jewel and since then Mr. Blumstein and - Alb W W N W K J UL Miss Hansloury have heen advisors to the society. At the present time Arista is Members of Arista are admitted on their superior records of scholarship, char- acter, and service in the school. Due to this the students perform many services which are an integral part of lxfladison. Once each term Arista conducts its installation ceremonies for new and deserving memloers.
