f' -- Inf GW .1 ,J--Nw A Our class was lortunate enough to enter Nladison, just as extra-curricular activities returned to the school. All the games We have thrilled to have been sparlced by many outstanding athletes. Qne of tVladison's greatest stars was Frankie King, a superior man on the basketball court. All will agree it was breathtaking to see Frankie dribble down the court. Nlilce Vveltman, now on his way to becom- ing a successful ballplayer was a great asset to our team. There have been many other bright lights in lVladison's past, too numerous to mention. Even those who have not been active participants in team play have spurred Madison on with their tremen- dous backing and spirit. The history of our teams have varied, showing both victories and defeats. Now to tell about our achievements on the lielpd. The Nloslceteers supervised by the superior coaching of Jammie Moskowitz are 'continuously showing great form on the court. For three con- ' K avi i, xt' N . secutive seasons, since we entered lxfladison the Highwaymen have landed a berth in the playoffs. Une team we can really be proud of, is the Vvundermen, coached by Artie Vvunderlich. The team sparlced by its co-captains Stuie Levine and Bennie Galante showed superior playing through- out last season. With this they brought a revela- tion to Madison by winning the tirst city champion- ship for our school since 1927. ln the third ring of our circus, we find our foot- ball team. Previously the black and gold was coached by Sam and Mike Torgan. This year under the leadership ol .lerry Edwards. they are looking forward to a well-played season. Although not as famous, Nladison has several other teams including the Bowling, Track and Tennis teams. We are sure all lxfladisonians will always remem- ber the pleasant moments we spent cheering our teams on to victory.
