, WM iff im W ul aa Message Tn Graduates nf 1945 ost n you entered Bowen High School just when I was assigned as Principal. For W Wx, QQNAW Wife ' ff! Bwoifaw liao A s s -' o feel rather close to all of you. I have learned much in these four years, and c nlident that you also have progressed. I ha e n many examples of excellent citizenship in your service to the school, your c ration among yourselves in the varied doings of our numerous clubs and organi ns, in your unstinted support of school activities and in your many endeavors to ta advantage of all the opportunities offered to you. Now that you are leaving us, I would like you to ponder seriously what I consider a major objective of all education and that is living together in cooperation and peace. Remember that education is a life time undertaking. Because of this I urge you to con- tinue your participation in civic affairs, as you have done in school affairs. In this way you will exert an influence among your associates for better living, rather than per- mitting yourselves to follow poor examples. Your high school days have been during the war years. Now we can see hopes of the end of hostilities in the near future. You can feel justly proud in your support of all drives. Continue these same efforts to obtain and maintain a just peace and you will have done your share as a citizen. In closing, remember we can still be of service to you and you can be of service to us. I trust your most cherished aspirations will soon become realities. i My sincerest congratulations on your graduation and my very best wishes are extended to all of you. ' . ' Cordially yours, WILLI'AM I' ' Ar...- 7n3lr-
