Class Prophecy fcontrnuedj Here in New York DAVID SAUB is really making them swoon with his real cool Jazz' Still in New York, we see MARIORIE WHITE working as scrub woman rn the Empire State Buildlng Here s a girl who IS really working her way to the top' Down to the deep dark jungles of Africa we go to find that PATTI WRIGHT and MARY LOUGHIN are mrssronaries and are as happy as can be' Back to the U S and sunny California, where we see LOUETTA FOSTER teaching elementary school and trying to raise her family of ten We near the end of our trip now and as we see the Bath skyline coming into v1ew we turn on the radio and hear that RUSSEL BAUERLE has just been promoted to General in the Natronal Guard 'I ' SENIOR TRIP The Class of 55 went to Washington D C on their Senior Trip Among places of Engraving and Printing The Washington Monument The Smithsonian Institute Mt Vernon Arlmgton National Cemetary Lee House The Tomb of the Unknown Soldrer and Arlington, Vll'g1Ill3 The class stayed at a hotel in downtown Washington where they visited much of the city A high point on the trrp was a tour of The Skyline Drive rn Vuglnia overlooking the Shenandoah Valley and a visit through the Skyline Caverns and Harpers Ferry West Virginia The entire trip took five days MOTTO Timber Lies Ahead Let s Build CLASS COLORS Yellow and White CLASS FLOWER Yellow Rose visited were the Capitol, The White House, The Supreme Court Building, The Bureau

CLASS PROPHECY It is now the year 1965 and we are taking a trrp around the world to find out what has happened to the seniors from the class of 1955 We shall stan out looking around Bath Here IS BRUCE BAIRD and his herd of Milking Shorthorns on Bruce s 600 acre farm JEANNE WILDT and JIM HOUGHTON are marrred and also lrve on a farm just across the road from Bruce Down the road we see hundreds and hundreds of chickens running all over Certainly they could belong to none other than WALTER KYES We are rn the city of Bath now and rt really has grown There IS RICHARD HAWKS Barber Shop right by DAWN VOORHEIS Voice Studio Right across the street from Dawn s studio we see a music store with the tinklrng sound of a piano coming out This naturally belongs to NADINE FARR, In a little corner store by LYLE ROOT S gas station we find JANET DENSTEADT running a Knit Goods Shop Down the street from the stores we come to good old James Couzens Agricultural School where LENORE SKLAPSKY rs teaching English It 1S a Class A school now Just outside of Bath we see a great big house the biggest around Bath and no wonder' Here lives JANET DERKE now Mrs Jerry Tarrant and their thirteen children foreman at the Olds and DALE NESS who now owns the Duncan Lumber Company In the capital building SANDRA KIESLING and FRANCES HAVENS are busy as bees for they are both private secretarres to G Mennen Williams who rs st11l Governor' In East Lansing we see all the college students running to the Union and no wonder for JACKIE KELLEY IS the head cook Down on the Mrchrgan State football field we see JERRY ROSSOW in his position as head coach really showmg those Spartans a tuck or two that he picked up at Bath High' By the way drd you know that MR. MURREY is President of Albion College now? In Detroit we frnd JOHN MCGONIGAL taking Les Bmgaman s place on the Detroit Lions team We leave Michigan and as we near Indrana we see in the newspapers that BUD ROUNDS has won the Indianapolis 500 mile race for the srxth straight year' Down to Alabama and a v1s1t to JEAN THOMAS now Mrs Kenneth Whaley who is busy rarsrng her two southern belles We are in Washington D C now and here we frnd RUSSELL SHEPARD teaching Einstein s theory of relativrty On to New York City where we see CAROL DOUGLAS who is running a charm school over JOAN CASES Dress Shop For Short Women . , . . . . . . Now we are arriving in Lansing and who do we find but CARL CURTIS, who is now , . . . . H . . . ' . . . ' I , ,

CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN JUNIOR PLAY Cheaper by the Dozen was a rollrckrng three act comedy about the Grlbreth famrly takrng place rn the roarrng twentres Those who saw rt wrll never forget Rrchard Hawks and Nadrne Farr as Mr and Mrs Gtlbreth MarJor1e Whrte Louetta Foster, Russel Bauerle, Pattr Wnght Russell Shepard Carl Curtrs Eugene Rounds Sandra Kreslmg and Dawn Voorhers as part of the Gxlbreth dozen The other members of the class who took part rn the play were Bruce Baud as Dr Burton, Janet Derke as Mrs Frtzgerald John McGon1gal as Joe Scales Beverly Horn as Mrss Bull, and Walter Kyes as Larry Lenore Sklapsky was Student Dtrector Mr Murrey was Dtrector and Mr Brown was Stage Drrector Cheaper by the Dozen, besrdes berng a delrghtful comedy was a true story of an old fashroned father fR1chard I-lawksj who found qulte a few obstacles rn front of hrm as he trred to chaperone daughter Ann fMarJor1e Whrtej on all of her dates But besrdes berng a comedy the play had a very beautrful qualrty to rt whrch was brought out rn the end The Semor Class of 55 wrll always remember thrs play as one of the happrest accornplrshments of our High School years SENIOR PLAY Our Mrss Brooks was a delrghtful story about an Englrsh teacher and the Urals she went through rn an effort to put on a successful school play Wrth Dawn Voorhels as MISS Brooks, John McGon1gal as Hugo Longacre Russel Shepard as Ted Wrlder and Marjorle Whrte as Jane Drew the rest of the cast was as follows Mr Wadsworth Russel Bauerle Mrss Audabon Frances Havens Mrss Fmch Louetta Foster Mrs Allen Iackre Kelly Stanley Bruce Barrd Sylvra Janet Densteadt Martrn Walter Kyes Farth Lenore Sklapsky Elsre Pattr Wrrght Dorrs Sandra Kreslrng Rhonda Allen Nadrne Farr Marge Carol Douglas Elame Joan Case Basketball player Carl Curtls Janet Derke was Student Drrector We would lrke to express our apprecratron to Mr Murrey and Mxss Stevens and Mr Brown for drrectrng and helprng us wrth both our Junror and our Semor plays The Semor Class of 1955 has trxed to put on better plays than has ever before been put on by a class tn an effort to promote a hrgher quallty of entertamment ln our school We hope that you have enjoyed them as much as we have enjoyed puttmg them on OU R MISS BROOKS
