SENIOR PLAY Pulling the Curtain The widely known Senior play Pulling the Curtain was a very success ful comedy which took place in the Town Hall Pine Valley Tennessee A play within a play will long be remembered by those who saw it and never be for gotten by those who participated in it Judy Reed Gordon Barnard Ann Red mond Bill White Pauline Perkins Sandra Carter Dennis Waltz Stanley Baird Pat Cramer Sandra Harden Tom Stull Richard Wilkins Nina John stone Joyce Smith and Helen Kerr Those who particxpated as prompters lighting and stage hands are Sylvia Parmalee Don Homer, Dick Burdick Don Redmond and Harold Bartlett Miss Stevens and Mr Murrey were the directors The plot of the play concerned the Ladies' Aid Society who was putting on a play The fact that some of the people of the society got mad at each other had to put up with JUNIOR PLAY The Boarding House Reach The complicated life of trying to keep Wilbur out of trouble keeps the Max wells pretty busy but also brought the play to a humorous success The trouble all started when Mr and Mrs Maxwell CRobert White and Pat Cramer, left town on a business venture and left the house in the care of their three children Wilbur KGordon Barnardj Connie lSandra Carterj and Betty Lou fPaul1ne Perkinsj and Betty Lou's girl friend Bernadine Smith QSandra Har denj They also asked Aunt Mary fN1na Johnstonel to watch the children Un knowingly to Aunt Mary Wilbur started aboarding house He has such board ers as Limpy and Nora McQu1re fTom Stull and Ann Redmond! Mr Potter lRichard Wilkins! Lucy Burns CJoy ce Smith! Mrs Mott QPeggy Howell, who never said one word in the play Herman Ninety Volt Jones QDon Bernardl and his wife Roughhouse Ruby Uudy Reed, Herman was a boxer and his wife was his trainer Wilbur and his friend Hercules Nelson QStanley Baird! finally called the cop Connolly QR1chard Burdick! on two of their boarders and their parents forgave Wilbur and he also got a new bike Miss Stevens and Mr Kaare helped us with our play We enjoyed putting this play on and being able to work together 16 C!
