Mr. Ronald Maslanik Assistant Principal To The Class of 1972 As the first graduating class from the new James Buchanan High School, my personal congratulations to every member. Now, as you move ahead into additional training, new vocations and further education, life will become extremely busy and often complicated. But above all, do not lose sight of the goals you have set for yourselves. I ask you to move into the future with confidence and with a dynamic equilibrium. I ask you to be sensitively alive to people and their needs, and to invest something of yourselves in society and develop a life- style that will make a difference in your world. I have the utmost confidence that you can and will. During your days at James Buchanan High School my hopes are that we have given you the tools to help you make wise decisions in the presence of a complex and rapidly changing world.
