E Varsity Jr. Varsity OC eg Hockey is a comparatively recent sport at Buchanan, this being-only the second year that the Rockettes have participated in competitive Hockey. Next year's Hockey team will miss greatly the Seniors of the Varsity team who will be graduated this spring. They are: Forwards: Anna Belle Snyder, Joyce Mellott, Cynthia Watson, and Gwendolyn McClurg. Fullbacksz Jane Ryder and Nancy Witter. Goalie: Mitzi Zeger. The Rockettes had a fairly successful season. The Varsity Squad won both games against Greencastle with scores of 5-0. However, they were twice defeated by Scotland with scores of 3-0 and 3-2. The Jr.-Varsity team won both games against Scotland with scores of 1-0 and 3-2. They won the first game against Greencastle witha score of 3-l and tied their second game 1-1.
